Differences are what make the world go around, because I obviously don't come across what others practice in this book. It had all the things I beloved in a story. It should accept been a winner. This is the 1st of this series I've read, simply I don't experience that was the trouble. The author did a good job with the groundwork etc... I thought the plot had so much potential. I loved the twist on the succubus mythology. I don't fifty-fifty know how to explain all I idea was off with this story. I wanted more of that connection throughout. I couldn't even hold onto that connection for long. Ok I'm going to exist honest I BEGGED FOR THIS BOOK!!! I think all Carrie Ann'due south readers did. Ever since I read book 1 in this series I wanted Dante'due south Story, I yearned for it, I needed to know his secrets, I needed to run into his happily ever subsequently. Carrie Ann DELIVERED AND THEN SOME!!!!

The premise to this series had me enticed and enthralled but with each new book I get pulled into unexpected ecstasy through it's pages and I'm always left begging for the next one. Tangled Innocence was the perfect storm of passion, innocence, seduction, and fight within its characters!!!!

What I love virtually about this series that I have yet to notice in any other series is guessing what each "lightning struck" woman will become afterward finding her true one-half. I don't even try to guess whatever more and when its revealed in each book my jaw always drops. I besides dearest how each book leads into the next one then smoothly. Its so enticing to become hints and peaks at where the adjacent story.

Loved this story and the highs and lows that went with it.

At first I had a feeling Nadie was going to exist a fleck to Pollyanna for me. But thank goodness the author didn't take the obvious direction.

A unique triad

A very suspenseful action packed read with sizzling hot moments betwixt the mates.

I have had these books for I practise not know how long and finally decided to read them. Wow, what I was missing out on. They are entertaining and very like shooting fish in a barrel to read. At times I felt like I was there with the characters trying to assist in situations. Laughing was also a part of my reaction. Great paranormal love stories.

The tales that come up out of such a unique private are phenomenal and yet not a complete surprise when you have had the pleasure to spend whatever amount of fourth dimension with her during a volume convention, which I am proud to be able to say that I have had that joy.

In truth the story of Nadia Morgan, our heroine, and Dante Bong has been a gradual but steady build since book ane, Grit of My Wings. We have been getting glimpses and glimmers from both of these two but nothing could be finalized until Jace Goodwin, comport shifter and mediator extraordinaire returned to earth from another mission. And I tin sympathize and understand Nadia's determination to finally cut the cord if after 2 years of waiting for Dante to make a move and he about assuredly has not.

Meanwhile Dante is trying to concord everything together at the bar but too with Nadia and knows that he can't claim his mate until Jace can return to make the triad complete. Dante has been caring for Nadia since he realized that she was the terminal piece to his relationship puzzle with Jace. (Don't worry I'grand non going to say how. Spoiler costless zone here.) The way in which he is subtly caring for her from a altitude is only another reason that I adore this character.

Nadia's kickoff meeting with Jace reminds me very much of a line I heard in the picture The Holiday, which is one of my current favorite Christmas/feel good movies but I digress. The line is "Run across Cute" which is described as when a hero and heroine run into because of a shared experience or event. In this case, Jace meets Nadia as she is preparing to go out Dante's life forever only her car won't get-go. This whole scene sets upwards the remainder of the book very well because Dante is FINALLY able to let Nadia in on why she has been waiting for ii years.

The drama that ensues once these three take their relationship to the side by side level is what nosotros have all been waiting for in this series. I'm not sure about anyone else but I had huge expectations about what drama would ensue in one case Nadia experiences her "modify" and Ms. Ryan not just met those she leaped over them with the entire story moving forward across where I felt even the entire serial would finally state. And I was SHOCKED at which mythical creature Nadia turns into but all I can say is lucky girl.

Now some of you lot may have read this far and call back I would really enjoy reading this but it is volume four. Can I jump in and read this with out reading the other 3 novels and ane novella that proceeded it? The short answer is yes. I don't recommend it because yous will miss out on some of the unique and charming way that especially Nadia's friends and mates are between each other but this story could definitely be picked upwards and read on its ain. Notwithstanding if you do want to read the first iii books after devouring this ane then may I suggest getting the Dante's Circumvolve Bundle. This includes the three first books in the series, Dust of My Wings, Warrior's Iii Wishes and An Unlucky Moon. Run into Hither for the purchase options.

This volume was just OK for me. I liked the characters of Dante, Nadie and Jace. Dante is a dragon and the owner of the bar named Dante's Circle where Nadie, ane of the seven women struck past lightning, and her friends like to go. Jace is a deport shifter and a Mediator who helps dissimilar paranormal realms solve disputes. Obviously, this volume is a triad romance with thou/f, one thousand/grand and m/f/m couplings.

Now, about the book's plot. Th

This book was just OK for me. I liked the characters of Dante, Nadie and Jace. Dante is a dragon and the owner of the bar named Dante's Circle where Nadie, one of the seven women struck past lightning, and her friends similar to go. Jace is a conduct shifter and a Mediator who helps different paranormal realms solve disputes. Manifestly, this book is a triad romance with k/f, k/thou and one thousand/f/m couplings.

Now, about the book's plot. The overall story line was practiced but role of the story line, a subplot, was (in my mind) non really needed. I establish this subplot actually interrupted the main story. If you took out this subplot completely, the catastrophe of the book would be exactly the same so I wasn't sure why this subplot was important.

This is what bothered me, major spoiler here, I'g basically going to tell you the plot and so read at your own peril....

A dragon named Alexander is retiring and wants Dante to take his place which would separate him from his mates for 500 years. If Dante says 'no', they are going to kill him. Apparently, Dante doesn't want this so he asks for time to think about it. Then a dragon named Rock is introduced and he really wants to exist on the Conclave but Alexander doesn't want him. And then Stone wants to impale Dante and then he can be on the Conclave. And herein lies the unneeded plot. Whether or non Rock kills Dante, he's not going to be on the Conclave. Dante doesn't want to exist on the Caucus so there's actually no reason to endeavour to impale him because by saying 'no', the Conclave is going to kill Dante anyway. Run into the problem here? This whole Rock subplot matter is not really needed because YOU KNOW Dante is going to say 'no' to the Conclave making the Rock subplot irrelevant and you know at that place's going to exist a big fight between Dante and the Conclave at the finish because they are going to try to kill him. Oh, and Stone is sleeping with Dante's mother. Not certain why this was important to the story line. I guess it's supposed to show that Dante's mother is a bitch. That'south pretty much it. And so, if you lot read the spoiler, y'all know why I only gave this book 2 stars. If you didn't read it, basically there'southward merely part of the story that I didn't really go why it was so of import to the story.

Now the romance between Dante, Nadie and Jace was just OK for me. It really felt like deja vu, considering the couplings were pretty much the same every bit book 2 "Her Warriors' Three Wishes." The combinations of their lovemaking are pretty much the aforementioned.

What I did like about this book was what type of paranormal creature Nadie turns into. I likewise liked that we find out who really caused the lightning to strike the vii women. I've loved this series from the get go. My fave characters were Becca and Hunter and I couldn't expect for their volume. Carrie Ann has a way of sucking you lot in then choking you and knocking all the air out of yous.

With Tangled Innocence in that location were a lot of reveals and then everything started to fall into place. I shocked to hear who initiated the lightening and why. Amazing. Now y'all are getting the entire picture. When Nadie joins with her mates and they are bonded we find out what Nadie's not-homo part is. OMG I was shocked and had to read that over a few times to brand sure I was getting it. If yous're post-obit these reads y'all also realize that each of the girls and their paranormal side belongs to a certain house or clan, I almost brutal off my sofa when nosotros were told virtually Nadie. In fact when she met with her (for lack of another word) grouping/clan and the tats revealed who she was information technology was a very emotional and touching scene. I loved it.

Carrie Ann once again is becoming infamous with her tear your heart out brand y'all weep scenes. Sheesh she did it twice in this 1. The first involved Jace's baby brother Torrent, I choked and the flood gates came open. All I tin say is OMG. The second is with Faith and they are pretty close together so make sure you have a box of tissues with you. Then you have the scene with Dante and his mother. Tin nosotros say sheesh adult female. Then you lot have the intro of Levi and you just drop your jaw. Unbelievable is all I tin can say. At present I so can't wait for Fierce Enchantment and Faith's reaction to everything including Levi. Ha I had to go that in there sorry. Kudos to you Carrie Ann Loved it!!!

The strong compelling characters are easily related to and catch the reader's attention from the very get-go. Tension builds throughout the story as the couple effort to detect a way to continue Dante out of the Caucus's clutches and take their happily ever after.

The allure between Nadia and her ii mates explodes from the pages and the frequent sex scenes including m/f/m, m/k, thousand/grand/f, and anal sexual practice scenes scorch the reader with their crimson hot intensity. The reader tin can't assist simply become caught up in their stories as the trio captures their middle with their fierce devotion to each other.

The writer has created a wonderful paranormal world with fantastic and captivating characters with refreshingly dissimilar elements that makes for a groovy change. Okay so the story goes...

The Conclave- which is like the mother of all councils- decides that Dante, the mighty god-touched majestic dragon, has no concern being true mates with a lowly deport and a human/succubus. So they offer him a seat on the Conclave....and a mandatory grooming catamenia of 500 years. Dante doesn't want information technology. Of course not. But one doesn't say no to the council apparently.

So they prepare for war and it does come to war. And there are deaths.
I loved it when he killed his female parent and that asshat Rock. But Torrent!

Faith, the everluvin Faith, takes a hit that was meant for Nadie and goes down...fortunately Levi is right there. He does some magic the issue of which is that Religion is spring to his life strength and tin live on.

That's gonna come up and bite him in the ass later on.

And the sex!

God the sex!

They took care of Nadie so well for the large brutes that they are!

Nadie is a, as 1 of my favorite writers one time wrote, flower that is wrapped around a cadre of steel. I loved her.

I am loving this series from Carrie Ann Ryan. The books middle around ane main storyline, and every book re-introduces us to favourite characters that we have met previously, forth with the characters that have centre stage for that detail book. I along with many others accept been waiting impatiently for Dante'southward story, and I wasn't disappointed. I think the friendships that were so strong to begin with with the seven lightning struck women, have evolved and go stronger at present that the mates I am loving this serial from Carrie Ann Ryan. The books center around one primary storyline, and every book re-introduces us to favourite characters that nosotros have met previously, along with the characters that take centre stage for that particular book. I along with many others have been waiting impatiently for Dante's story, and I wasn't disappointed. I recall the friendships that were then stiff to begin with with the vii lightning struck women, have evolved and become stronger now that the mates are becoming included. In this book we see simply how strong that friendship is, with ane character willing to become that extra mile for the love of a friend (heartbreaking). Each character is dissimilar, which is what I love. They're all strong and contained, and the men are very protective of their mates, just they all have a hidden fragility which endears you to them. I love Jace in this book, for me he's the stand out hero. Peradventure because of his office equally a mediator he knows exactly what to say and when. He knows when his mates demand a kind word, or a gentle affect or a kick in the pants. The dynamic between Dante, Jace and Nadie is explosive, touching and heartfelt. Nadie did not plow into what I remotely thought she would, just again that's the great surprise element of these books.
